Centre for Skills Development

The Centre offers free employment services in the following areas: Burlington, Milton, Oakville, and Mississauga.

 

Goodwill Career Centre

Goodwill Career Centre provides individualized service and support to job seekers. They help job seekers explore their skills, identify or develop employment opportunities, and more.

 

Halton Multicultural Council (HMC Connections)

HMC Connections helps newcomers understand the Canadian workplace and provides support to ensure an effective job search. HMC Employment Specialists will help create a special plan of action for your goals, needs, and situation while providing ongoing employment counselling and coaching, and recommend programs and services which will be most helpful to you. HMC works to support newcomers until they successfully enter the workforce.

 

Sheridan Community Employment Services (CES)​ 

Sheridan CES offers mentoring for immigrant professionals, one-on-one employment advising, resume help, job search workshops, job postings and more. All services are free and funded through Employment Ontario.

 

VPI Working Solutions

VPI offers in-person and online programs designed to evaluate and define your customized education and career road map. They also provide resources and tools such as personalized career and employment counselling.

 

YMCA Employment Training & Settlement Services

YMCA provides a range of free, personalized services to clients engaged in job searching.
